Mentorship for SAS Grades
All Colleges are planning to welcome SAS grades to their mentoring scheme, this is currently at the development stage.
Some Surgical Specialty Associations (SSAs) have mentorship programmes, and more recently have introduced specific mentorship for CESR applicants. Previously successful CESR candidates volunteer to provide this support. See the table below for further information. Only the SSAs providing mentorship support are listed.
In addition, BAUS is pioneering a mentorship programme for SAS grades who are applying for the Fellowship Specialist Examination.
