Otolaryngology: Miss Jeena Narayan
My long experience both negative and positive in the workplace, in the NHS and overseas, motivated me to contribute to the efforts to provide effective education for non-training doctors in the UK. I realised new doctors from overseas, will need support to utilise available resources and enable early engagement. Those who have not had previous medical training in the UK, are vulnerable to the pitfalls of the system. This website will hopefully help non-training doctors to feel more at ease in the NHS, and able to integrate with the workforce and contribute more effectively and early.
Likewise, I hope the mentoring system will also provide insight for both mentors and mentees on integrating new overseas doctors into the system.
